mood: happy happy
i'm 16, everyone!! as of oct 4th, o4!! driver's license here i come. i had a great time on monday. i almost wished that it weren't my bday at first, because i just didn't feel ready for it yet. but with all these people wishing me a happy bday with big smiles, wow that made my day. i want to thank all those people, even though they won't see this post. haha. the peeps at musical theatre sang happy bday to me. aww.
later on, me and my roomies went out to this fancy restaurant called steeples. the food was super, and the white choc cheesecake was so fine. caramali is one of the best appetizers ever! hehe. way to spend my day on dinner table duty too. i took a lot of pics, so when i get the photos developed, it's going right here.
yesterday was not a very good day. so stressed out. woke up at 6 in the morn to try and finish up my essays. nothing turned on. stupid ripley's boys came in and raided our house. they cut the power supply plus the hot water. then they wrote on our foyer whiteboard: WE CAME HERE! WE LOVE YOU!! accompanied by some photo of theirs. dumbasses. heh.
ah yes, about my unfinished homework. i managed to take the wrong books (and run back and forth through my humungo campus), forget my calculator for math class, barely finished my essays before the class due (though i did hand them in completed and on time), hurriedly post up my french blog for mme mccallum in the morning (because the connection ceased last last night) and be perfectly ready for every class. i surpise myself. oh yeah. i got my last AP euro essay back, with the highest mark in the class! woohoo! no matter how last-minute my essays are, it proves that my writing isn't all that incomprehensible. :D
today's a sweet day. it's wednesday, meaning a late morning. plus i got a spare block first thing. no class until 9:55. plus it's musical theatre after school. yesh!!

it's niki's bday today! she's turning 18! wow, imagine turning into an adult overnight. it's scary when time just swoops past us so silently, and shocks us once in a while with its impromptu calls. my own bday's this coming monday, on oct 4th. can't believe i'm going to be 16 finally. wow, a driver's license is within my reach! there was someone who still thought that we're sisters. come on. do we really like the part?
last last saturday, my 'big sis' took us to the galley, this pretty neat restaurant really close to campus. the food was super. i stole 2 pics from that night off diana's wall the other day. not much variety between the 2, but nonetheless i've scanned them and heaved them online anyway. yay. apologies to the fuzziness due to minimizing the pic size to fit this small frame of a blog.

i got myself a camera from the commissary. hopefully i'll be able to take a lot more pics of school here. i wanna have this pic of me at the same place with the same pose, except at different times of the year. that would be so awesome. my school's like a country club. seriously, there are people cleaning the house for us, making food for us, and all we students have to do is endure a little bit of class and get some homework done every night. sweet deal. too bad it's so expensive here.

i had a great day yesterday. got back my economics test from last week, which i seriously believed i failed. i couldn't believe my eyes when mr sarsfield returned the paper to me. an 'A'! wow! i beat taylor. haha. then after school was my dancing and singing audition (line-reading is tomorrow). it went pretty well! mrs hall said i'm a really good dancer (am i really? hehe), and mr perry said he really likes my voice. bingo! it's not the best of time to say that, since i already know that
i got a callback for the part of reno sweeney!! yesh. now i just have to nail that line-reading audition tomorrow. nichelle, skyeblu, jessica w and lela also got callbacks for reno.
today was so hectic. but all's well. my french skit with eric and jody went better than some others. people said i did great, but i think i messed up a teeny bit. taylor said my french accent's really good. muahaha. i'm just good at picking up accents, i guess. then my econ test. i think i'm gonna get near, if not, perfect. i feel like a dork. my hands still hurt from all that pencil-gripping.
huge AP euro history test tomorrow. the first of the bunch. saw mr anderson with alex - diana's boyfriend - after dinner. realized that the course requires only vague recognition of stuff that happened, and any dates or figures are just complementary. my god. such a big difference from IGCSE world history. always essays, essays, essays; detail, detail, detail!
tennis. guys i think are interested in me keep walking past the tennis court to see me. i won't jot any names here but i have an idea of who they are.
i really want the part of reno. what worries me is how the other girls do. i'll use my tutorial time to warm up for the part. :P
